How we work / Grant Built

A clear path from first plans to final handover.

Good building starts with useful decisions made early. We combine practical planning, hands-on site leadership and clear reporting, adapting our input to the stage your project has reached.

Our process

From drawing board to built home.

Every job has its own pace and priorities. These four stages show how we typically help Auckland homeowners and their design teams move a project forward.

  1. 01

    Start with the design

You can bring us in while ideas are taking shape or once drawings are ready. We look at buildability, material choices, construction methods and the likely programme, then help identify decisions worth resolving before work starts.

  2. 02

    Define the scope and price

As the design develops, we work through a clear scope of work and itemised pricing by stage. That gives owners and the design team a practical basis for discussing costs, timing and what is included.

  3. 03

    Build and keep you informed

Construction is led closely on site, with direct communication between our team, the trades and the people making decisions. Clients can follow the programme, budget position, daily updates and payment claims in their private project portal.

  4. 04

    Check, finish and hand over

We carry out quality checks as the work progresses, work through the final details at handover and remain available for support after completion.
